Why We Love to Help - But Don’t Have a Helpdesk.

What we do at Upscore is often labeled as “SaaS” – Software as a Service. That may be the common term, but it doesn’t feel quite right to us. Because if software is at the center, does that mean the service just runs alongside? No.


That’s why we prefer to say: “SaaS – Service, and also Software.” What we offer is more than just cloud-based software with a helpdesk bolted on. For us, the most important thing is that you succeed with our software – not just that you have it.


Upscore is data-driven, precise, and designed to help newsrooms remain successful both economically and editorially. But numbers and data only unleash their impact once they are understood, properly contextualized, and translated into action. Especially in reader markets, that often makes the difference: only those who see how data-driven content can optimize reach and offerings will ultimately convert users into subscribers.


That’s why we put great emphasis on ensuring our users not only have access to their data, but also know how to use it effectively – whether for planning editorial topics, uncovering potential, or developing long-term strategies.
